SAN ANTONIO — Authorities discovered 20 kilos of heroin and methamphetamine in a concrete mixer in a drug bust on the East Side, potentially linking to cartels.

The bust occurred on Thursday near Gorman and North Grimes.

An undocumented immigrant who had been on the federal radar was present at the home and was arrested on charges of possession.

In addition to the drugs, deputies found firearms inside the residence, including one that the sheriff said was stolen. Officials are currently working to secure an ICE detainer for the suspect.
